smart phones are advanced pieces of technology. You should have some
experience with using smart phones if you plan to rent one from us.
INCLUDED in the cost of your rental is the SIM card in the phone
which provides
the internet access and YOU DO NOT NEED TO RELY ON WiFi NETWORKS.
You will have internet wherever you go for web browsing, e-mailing,
GPS (maps) and using the built-in apps. and widgets to check the
weather, stocks, news, etc...
We include unlimited DATA transfer with every rental. The below
are just a few rental scenarios to give you an idea of how this all
works.

- for a 1 week rental (minimum) you get the first 1GB data
transfer at 3G speeds (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps) and then unlimited data
transfer at 128/64Kbps) for the remainder of your rental period.
- for up to a 2 week rental you get the first 1GB data
transfer at 3G speeds (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps) and then unlimited data
transfer at 128/64Kbps) for the remainder of your rental period. So,
if you reach the 1GB point in say the first 12 days, during the
remaining 2 days your speed would drop to 128/64Kbps (128Kbps download
and 64Kbps upload).
- for up to a 3 week rental you get the first 1GB data
transfer at 3G speeds (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps) and then unlimited data
transfer at 128/64Kbps) for the remainder of your rental period. So,
if you reach the 1GB point in say the first 18 days, during the
remaining 3 days your speed would drop to 128/64Kbps (128Kbps download
and 64Kbps upload).
- for up to a 4 week rental you get the first 1GB data
transfer at 3G speeds (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps) and then unlimited data
transfer at 128/64Kbps) for the remainder of your rental period. So,
if you reach the 1GB point in say the first 23 days, during the
remaining 8 days your speed would drop to 128/64Kbps (128Kbps download
and 64Kbps upload).
- for multiple month rentals you get the first 1GB data
transfer at 3G speeds (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps) EACH MONTH. After the 1GB
high speed limit is reached each month you get unlimited data
transfer at 128/64Kbps) for the remainder of that month.

OPTIONAL FOR HEAVY DATA USAGE:
if you are a heavy internet user and do not want to have your speed
reduced after reaching the first 1GB, please select the "Total unlimited
DATA plan (no reduction of connection speed)" when you fill in our
RENTAL QUOTE REQUEST PAGE.
This option will provide you with unlimited DATA transfer at full
speed for your entire rental period.

It is IMPORTANT that you disconnect from the 3G or GPRS
services when you are finished your usage so |

that the system
does not deduct DATA sessions for DATA "leakage" (small amts. of
DATA that are transferred even when you are not online doing
anything. If you do not disconnect, these small amts. of
"leakage" can add up to large amts. over time. |
