PLEASE NOTE: The Palm Treo 750v
smart phone is an advanced piece of technology. You should have some
experience with using smart phones if you plan to rent one from us.
Our system of DATA usage (for sending and receiving e-mail and
browsing the WWW) is based on prepaid data "bonos" or data packs.
When you request a smart phone rental from us, you will be asked to
select the amt. of initial prepaid call credit AND the amt. of initial
prepaid DATA credit which we load into the phone for you pre-delivery.
The call credit is used for the voice calls you make (see our calling
rates page and DATA credit is used for all of your
e-mailing and web browsing when you connect to the 3G or GPRS services.
You can configure any e-mail accounts you like in the smart phone or we
can do it for you before we deliver the phone. When you connect to the
WWW or send/receive e-mails the prepaid DATA credit is deducted from
your balance as follows...
- in sessions of 250Kb or 10 minutes, whichever comes first.
- This means that each session of DATA transfer is
good for 256 Kbytes or 10 min.

Each session is a
combination of data volume transferred and time connected.
When the user (you) closes the session, the system calculates the amt.
of data transferred and the duration (in minutes) of the session.
When you rent a smart phone, the available data blocks
you can have pre-loaded into the phone are as follow...
| a) BASIC DATA PACK - up to
25MB (100 sessions)
for 30€. |
| b) ADVANCED DATA PACK - up
to 200MB (800 sessions)
for 50€. |
| c) PREMIUM DATA PACK - up to
1GB (4,096 sessions)
for 80€. |

| And if you need more than 1GB to start with, we can load in multiple GB data packs pre-delivery as well. |

So,here are a few examples to better understand how this
works... |

if you connect for say 10 minutes but use only 150Kb of
DATA, the system will deduct 1 |
| |
session (10 minutes) from the
data pack. |
| - |
if you connect for 10 minutes but use 1MB of data, the
system will deduct 4 |
| |
sessions (256Mb/session) from the data pack. |
| - |
if you connect for 15 minutes and use 500Kb of data, the
system will deduct 2 sessions from the data pack |
| |
(1 session for the
first 10 minutes of connection and 1 for the additional 244Kb of
usage). |

IMPORTANT NOTES: |

If you should run out of the DATA credit, the system will
still let you connect to the WWW and e-mail but |
| |
it will deduct
the fee from the prepaid calling credit that you have (if you
have any) and outside of the "bonos"
(data packs), the unit has a data usage cost of 2 Euros per MB.
So, it is important to buy another DATA bono when your current
one is running low to avoid paying the higher rate for DATA use.
The system will warn you when your DATA bono is running low and
you can buy another from us by calling our customer care number. |

DATA usage is considered ALL incoming and outgoing DATA (downloaded and uploaded). |

It is IMPORTANT that you disconnect from the 3G or GPRS
services when you are finished your usage so |

that the system
does not deduct DATA sessions for DATA "leakage" (small amts. of
DATA that are transferred even when you are not online doing
anything. If you do not disconnect, these small amts. of
"leakage" can add up to large amts. over time. |
